ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS
“We are proud to announce the 26th Southern African Universities Power and Engineering Conference (SAUPEC 2018), will be hosted by the School of Electrical and Information Engineering of the University of the Witwatersrand in conjunction with the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE). SAUPEC brings together academics and students in electrical engineering from the Southern African region to present research papers, network and expand the fraternity that has been built as part of the SAUPEC legacy since the first conference in 1990”

PAPER FORMAT
Prospective authors are invited to submit high-quality papers in the above research fields. Papers, with maximum length of six pages, are to be prepared in accordance with the SAUPEC format available on the conference website.
REVIEW POLICY
Full papers submitted in the period
15 October to 30 November 2017
are guaranteed of peer review. Best papers will be submitted
to be reviewed for possible publication in a special
issue if the SAIEE Africa Research Journal.
Papers received between
1 and 15 December
are not guarenteed of peer review, they will be
accepted as discussion papers.
Papers accepted by the reviewpanel will be published
in the conference proceedings.
Papers NOT accepted by the review panel may be presented as
posters, but will not be included in the proceedings.
All papers will be checked for plagiarism and screened accordingly.
